Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick, who played last season for the Arizona Cardinals, is visiting the New England Patriots on Thursday, according to a report via Twitter from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Kirkpatrick, 31, had three interceptions and 56 tackles (combined) in the 14 games in which he appeared for the Cardinals last season, including 11 starts. He signed a one-year deal with Arizona last August.
The Bengals released Kirkpatrick, their first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, in March 2020. The Enquirer's Tyler Dragon wrote that terminating Kirkpatrick's contract gave the Bengals $8.
