New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has already spoken to newly-hired coach Mike Vrabel.
The 22-year-old signal-caller is currently in Orlando for the Pro Bowl Games, and he spoke with SiriusXM about Vrabel taking over as head coach. According to Maye, one of the biggest positives about Vrabel is that he's "been a head coach" and knows what it's like.
"(Vrabel) reached out to me, we got on the phone," Maye said, as transcribed by Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan. "He’s been awesome. Obviously a guy who has done it, played in the league, won a Super Bowl; you have a respect of what he’s done and seen what he’s done.
