For the second day in a row, Patriots QB Drake Maye landed on the team’s injury report Thursday due to a knee ailment.
But even with those bumps and bruises following his first NFL start, Maye remained a full participant in practice Thursday — just as he was on Wednesday afternoon.
“I’m not concerned,” Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said of Maye’s status Thursday morning. “That’s for the head coach and trainers, but he looked good to me yesterday.”
Even though Maye was once again given the green light to practice on Thursday, the Patriots were still missing two starters on offense in left tackle Vederian Lowe (ankle) and running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot).
