Drake Maye’s final minicamp practice got off to a rather clunky start. The No. 3 overall pick’s accuracy wasn’t pinpoint while pressure played a hand in an early interception when targeting JuJu Smith-Schuster.

But, the 21-year old’s confidence never wavered as he finished strong.

After a trio of touchdown passes to Kayshon Boutte in the low red area, New England saw perhaps a glimpse of the future. With one second left on the clock and the ball at the nine-yard line, Maye lofted a ball to the back right pylon where fellow rookie Ja’Lynn Polk came diving in to haul it in for a score.
