Drake Maye is still feeling some of the bumps and bruises from his first NFL start last Sunday.
The Patriots QB was listed on the team’s injury report with a knee injury on Wednesday. But the third-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was still listed as a full participant during practice at Gillette Stadium and held his usual media availability earlier that morning.
However, Ben Volin of The Boston Globe noted on X Wednesday evening that Maye went for an MRI after practice. Maye’s status is something worth monitoring for the rest of the week, as the Patriots will fly out to London on Thursday evening before taking on the Jaguars Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
