Don Hasselbeck, who coached with his sons, Tim and Matt Hasselbeck, at Ensworth, died Monday, Matt announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
According to Matt, his father died of cardiac arrest. He was 70.
Don Hasselbeck played 123 regular-season games over nine years in the NFL and was part of the 1984 Los Angeles Raiders' Super Bowl-winning team. He was picked in the second round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots out of the University of Colorado.
