FOXBORO -- Dominique Easley missed Sunday's loss to the Eagles with an ankle injury, but he feels like he is getting close to returning.
"I think I’m getting there," Easley said today before participating in his second straight practice. "Just got to see how the week goes."
Easley didn't show any signs of an injury when the Patriots fell to the Broncos two weeks ago before missing a couple practices with the ailment, but he confirmed that's when the injury occurred.
"Yeah, I just didn’t show it," Easley said. "Just played through it."
Naturally, Easley was disappointed he couldn't contribute when the Pats lost at home to the Eagles.
