Defensive lineman Dominique Easley missed his third consecutive practice today after suffering a hip pointer last week against the Steelers, putting his status for Sunday's game against the Bills in further doubt.
Easley's recovery timetable is 1-2 weeks, according to a source. That theoretically put the Bills game in play because the injury occurred on a Thursday night, but Easley would have to practice tomorrow to have a chance to suit up. The injury is all about pain management and treatment, so it's really a day-by-day deal.
Wide receiver Chris Harper joined the practice squad after clearing waivers, and he returned to the field today.
