Calvin Munson’s run on the New England Patriots’ practice squad ended Tuesday.
The Miami Dolphins announced the addition of the 24-year-old linebacker to the active roster.
Munson initially joined New England’s practice squad in October 2018. The San Diego State product remained through Super Bowl LIII, recorded 16 tackles during his preseason audition, and returned to the scout team after clearing waivers on Labor Day weekend.
Entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in 2017, Munson’s rookie season in East Rutherford included 60 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble.
