On Oct. 6 the Dolphins will visit the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Who’ll be the Miami quarterback when they arrive is very much up in the air.
With Tua Tagovailoa already on injured reserve after suffering another concussion, the Dolphins started Skylar Thompson against the Seahawks. The 27-year-old former seventh-round pick didn’t play at all in 2023 and had played just seven games as a rookie in 2022 before stepping in for Tagovailoa last week.
But Thompson suffered a chest injury in the third quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
