There’s apparently no love lost between the Patriots and running back Dion Lewis.
Lewis, who played three seasons in New England before signing a four-year, $20 million contract with the Titans this offseason, had some choice words for his former team after Tennessee’s 34-10 shellacking of the Patriots Sunday afternoon.
“Hell yeah, it’s personal,” Lewis said, via NFL Network’s Mike Giardi. “That’s what happens when you go cheap. You get your ass kicked.”
The 5-foot-8 speedster rushed for 57 yards on a team-high 20 carries Sunday, adding to his season total of 396.
