Devin McCourty was certainly aware his brother Jason took part in the largest national anthem protest yet, as a dozen Cleveland Browns players took a knee in what one athlete said was a prayer “for the world in general” before their preseason game Monday night.
Jason McCourty was among the group, as he stood with an arm on the players who were kneeling.
“I saw my brother was in it, so I got to talk to him a little bit about what they were doing,” McCourty said today.
The natural question, of course, would be if the Patriots defensive captain would plan or take part in a similar protest with the Patriots.
