New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas has not been fully cleared for contact this summer due to a minor hand injury. That didn’t stop him from at least trying to be full-go.
After wearing a red non-contact for the past week, Douglas tried to sneak onto the field in a regular white jersey on Friday. The Patriots medical staff quickly caught on.
“I tried to come out in the white jersey but they were like ‘No,’” Douglas joked on Saturday. “It’s all for good though.”
