Deflategate court dates won't hinder Tom Brady

Tom Brady will not miss the Super Bowl because of the Deflategate saga.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York yesterday allowed a joint request to expedite the appeals process. However, oral arguments “shall be heard as early as the week of February 1, 2016,” according to a court order released yesterday.

The Super Bowl will be played Feb. 7, 2016. Even if oral arguments are heard the week of Feb. 1, it would be unprecedented for a federal appeals court to render a decision that quickly.
