The dust has yet to settle from the 2025 NFL draft, and the New England Patriots already have some major decisions looming. One of those decisions is whether to pick up the fifth-year option on offensive lineman Cole Strange's contract.
The 2022 first-round draft pick is entering the fourth year of his rookie deal, and the Patriots have to decide whether to pick up the $16.6 million tab on his fifth-year option or decline and make him a pending free agent.
Strange returned late last season after going down in 2023 with a torn patellar tendon in his knee.
