The New England Patriots seemingly did not have an answer to Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox, particularly in the first period of Saturday night’s AFC Wild Card game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. Knox played in that period as though to remind Bill Belichick and the Pats about how much they should be missing the downfield killing machine that they used to have — Rob Gronkowski.
Knox struck early for the Bills, hooking up with quarterback Josh Allen for two touchdowns right in the very first frame to dig New England an early hole that has only gone deeper since.
