David Andrews mulls Patriots future with shoulder surgery looming

Patriots center and offensive captain David Andrews all but confirmed his 2024 season is over on Tuesday.

The offensive lineman provided new details on his right shoulder injury and the surgery that will sideline him for the rest of the year on the latest episode of “The Quick Snap” podcast.

“In ‘21, I ripped the rotator cuff off the bone. Now I’ve torn it in the meat of it,” Andrews explained. “So what they’re going to try to do is … put a sheath over this, and hopefully the muscles re-grow.

“It’s not 100 percent, but it gives me the best chance to continue my football career.
