Dave Lapham, longtime color analyst for the Cincinnati Bengals' radio broadcasts, told Kirk Herbstreit during the "In the Trenches with Dave Lapham" podcast that Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki's attempt to catch a 15-yard pass by quarterback Joe Burrow in the corner of the end zone during the second quarter of last Sunday's NFL Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots should have been ruled a catch and touchdown, according to the league itself.
The ruling on the field of a catch and score was overturned.
