The New England Patriots need a game-changing wide receiver, among other things, and Davante Adams is one of the best at the position. But Adams being traded to the talent-lacking Patriots feels far-fetched.
It would make very little sense.
The Las Vegas Raiders have informed teams they would consider trading Adams for a second-round pick and additional compensation, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday afternoon. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Adams would prefer to be traded, as well.
The 31-year-old Adams does not have a no-trade clause in his contract so he cannot reject a specific landing spot.
