FOXBORO — After yesterday’s 30-23 loss to the Patriots, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis sat at his locker and talked with free safety Marcus Gilchrist.
Gilchrist seemed a bit more animated, but as is usually the case — regardless of the situation — Revis wore a bemused look more than anything else.
Going up against the team he chose to leave in the offseason via free agency for a massive contract worth $39 million guaranteed, Revis played about as well as one could against the league’s best offense — and it still wasn’t good enough.
Perhaps that’s why as Gilchrist made his points, all Revis could do was shake his head and smile.
