ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is eager to resume playing after serving a four-game suspension, and believes he received the necessary counseling to address personal issues which prompted his latest NFL disciplinary issues.
Rather than enter a rehabilitation facility, as Dareus said he would in August, the player says he worked with a life coach and leaned on the advice of several Bills Hall-of-Famers, including defensive end Bruce Smith.
Dareus spoke Wednesday after taking part in his first practice since sitting out Buffalo's first four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy for a second consecutive season.
