FOXBORO — Wide receiver Danny Amendola was back on the practice field today after missing yesterday’s workout due to a knee injury.
Amendola has dealt with knee issues for years, and the maintenance has continued this season. By sitting out yesterday and returning today for a walkthrough in the bubble, it affirmed the notion that it was just a treatment day for the 31-year-old.
Defensive tackle Malcom Brown (ankle) and cornerback Eric Rowe (groin) were absent. Rowe will miss his fourth consecutive game Sunday against the Chargers. And if Brown’s ankle was bad enough that he couldn’t participate in a walkthrough, it certainly looks like he’ll miss the first game of his career Sunday.
