INDIANAPOLIS -- Patriots slot receiver Danny Amendola’s free-agent market is unfolding favorably, according to a source.
In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he receives offers worth between $3-5 million annually, so the Patriots will have to be competitive to re-sign the 32-year-old.
Clearly, Amendola has preferred to remain with the Patriots, and he has taken $10 million worth of paycuts to do so over the past three seasons.
But after his prominent postseason performance, Amendola can use the open market to his negotiating advantage.
Amendola had 659 receiving yards in 2017, which was his best output in his five seasons with the Patriots.
