After being activated off of the injured reserve list on Monday afternoon, Damien Harris had a prime opportunity to make up for lost time this season with the New England Patriots placing fellow running back Sony Michel on IR with a quad injury on Monday, leaving the door open for Harris to prove himself early on.
Harris, who was the team’s best running back in training camp, made the most of his first career start in the NFL, rushing the ball 17 times for 100 yards, highlighted by a 41-yard run at the end of the third quarter.
