The Patriots are using a ground-dominant game plan against the Lions. If they want to continue doing that, they will have to do so without their starting running back.
New England officially ruled Damien Harris out for Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
It isn't clear at which point Harris suffered the injury. He had generated just 12 total yards on five touches before exiting the contest.
In Harris' stead, second-year back Rhamondre Stevenson will take on the entirety of the team's workload. Stevenson had actually out-snapped Harris 129 to 100 over the first four weeks and is regarded as a better receiver than his counterpart.
