With a number of franchises reportedly eyeing out-of-state training camp sites, could the Patriots be moving their summer operation too?
According to MMQB’s Albert Breer, there are teams that are already “deep into exploring” alternative sites for August amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and Massachusetts remains one of the hardest hit states in the country.
“Simple reality dictates that the 10 teams in the Northeast corridor and on the West Coast need to get ahead of this now,” Breer writes. “In Seattle, the best-case scenario, based on the plans laid out by the state, is that gatherings of over 50 people are allowed eight weeks from now.
