The New England Patriots at the very least need a new quarterbacks coach to replace Jedd Fisch and may need an offensive coordinator if Josh McDaniels departs this offseason.
There's a man qualified for both roles who may be looking for a job in 2021, even if Patriots fans may not hold him in high regard.
In his column Monday morning, The MMQB's Albert Breer suggested Jets head coach Adam Gase "could factor into the new (coaching) setup" in New England if New York fires him this offseason.
Breer also mentioned Cleveland Browns assistant (and former Patriots wide receivers coach) Chad O'Shea and Patriots tight ends coach Nick Caley as names to watch for the Patriots' QB coach and/or offensive coordinator roles.
