Conditional 7th-round pick for Bryan Stork would fill Patriots' draft void

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots acquired a conditional 2017 seventh-round draft choice from the Washington Redskins in exchange for center Bryan Stork on Wednesday, which provides a springboard to revisit the team's selections next year.

As of now, this is the breakdown of the Patriots' 2017 draft picks:

First round (original)

Second round (original)

Third round (original)

Fourth round (from Seattle)

Fifth round (original)

Sixth round (original)

Seventh round (conditional/Washington)

The club had traded its 2017 seventh-round pick to Detroit last year in exchange for tight end Michael Williams, so this acquired pick -- assuming Stork reports to Washington and the conditions of the trade are ultimately met -- would fill that void.
