The New England Patriots offensive line is in dire need of a boost, and it appears some help might be on the way. Cole Strange, the team’s starting left guard the last two seasons, is nearing a return from the torn patellar tendon that has sidelined him since last December.
The former first-round draft pick told Christopher Price of the Boston Globe that he had recently entered the last phase of his rehabilitation process before a return to practice.
“I feel like we’re kind of in the final stretch of the rehab process when it comes to what I’ve been doing,” Strange told Price.
