The New England Patriots’ offensive line had to deal with its fair share of injury issues throughout the season, and things only got worse on Sunday. In the second quarter of the Patriots’ Week 15 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, starting left guard Cole Strange had to be carted off the field due to a knee injury.
The Patriots have since ruled the former first-round draft pick out.
Strange remained flat on his back after a short pass play from quarterback Bailey Zappe to tight end Hunter Henry. Several of his teammates as well as head coach Bill Belichick came in to check on the 25-year-old before he was loaded onto the cart.
