The Buffalo Bills had five days to match the contract offered to wide receiver Chris Hogan by the New England Patriots.
They took just a few hours to decline.
According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Hogan gets $12 million over three years from the Patriots with $7.5 million guaranteed and $5.5 million in the first year. Rapoport added that Bills people "seem happy for him," and that Hogan was a player the Patriots "monitored for years."
Here's what you should know about Hogan, who played on the outside and in the slot in 2015.
