FOXBORO — A toothless Chris Hogan returned home from practice one day last week and cracked to his wife, “You should see the other guy.”
The Patriots wide receiver collided with tight end Jacob Hollister as the pair ran intersecting crossing routes during their midweek preparations for the Falcons. Hogan was focused on the ball and didn’t see his teammate, and the ensuing damage resulted in a lost pair of top front teeth.
Hogan, who has been wearing a temporary retainer to fill in the gap, has taken it all in stride. There was nothing malicious about the collision, so he is having fun with it.
