CLEVELAND -- When veteran tight end Martellus Bennett gets rolling, he can deliver a string of witty soundbites in interviews with reporters. And when he gets going on the field, he can produce big-time results.
That was one of the biggest takeaways from the New England Patriots' 33-13 victory over the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium, as Bennett conducted a humorous post-game interview after catching three touchdown passes for the first time in his career.
Bennett’s performance was especially impressive considering he appeared to be seriously injured on the Patriots’ first drive, remaining down following a goal-line run by LeGarrette Blount after having his right ankle rolled up on.
