Interior lineman Bryan Hudson and outside linebacker Ochaun Mathis reverted to the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Monday.
The pair served as standard elevations for what became a 15-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins the afternoon prior.
Hudson, 23, was active yet did not take the field at Gillette Stadium. The 6-foot-5, 301-pound undrafted rookie signed to the practice squad at its formation after spending training camp with the Detroit Lions. He had been waived at the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline in August. The product of Virginia Tech and Louisville appeared in 60 games during his collegiate career, totaling 41 starts between center, guard and tackle.
