A top cornerback prospect likes the idea of playing for the New England Patriots, and he has a last name you may recognize. Joey Porter Jr, son of former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter, is perfectly fine with the idea of playing for his father’s archrival.
The younger Porter is thought to be a first-round pick. The Penn State product had a stellar career in Happy Valley, recording 27 tackles in 2022. He was named to the All-Big Ten first-team in 2022 and is considered to be one of the top corner prospects in this year’s draft.
His father faced the Patriots several times in his career as a member of both the Steelers and Miami Dolphins.
