Carucci Take2: Sloppy Bills nearly sleepwalk to loss vs. lowly Patriots

For the better part of the first half, the Bills looked anything but ready to play. They performed as if merely showing up would be good enough.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Here are my five takeaways from the Buffalo Bills’ 24-21 victory against the New England Patriots Sunday at Highmark Stadium:

1. Hard as they tried to sleepwalk through this one, the Bills managed to stay awake just long enough to win a game they had no business losing.
