RENTON, Wash. (AP) -- Pete Carroll thinks Marshawn Lynch's mom is just looking out for her son.
The Seattle coach brushed aside comments made by Delisa Lynch in a Facebook post criticizing the organization and calling for offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell to be fired. Her comments came after her son was stopped on a fourth-and-1 run play in overtime in the Seahawks' 34-31 loss in St. Louis on Sunday.
''I heard. I haven't seen the actual comments,'' Carroll said Wednesday. ''Mom looking after her kid, there ain't nothing wrong with that.''
Delisa Lynch posted her comments late Monday night.
