While they waited for Cam Newton’s signing to become official, the New England Patriots’ social media team had time to prepare for the announcement and made good use of it.
It certainly doesn’t look like anyone is trying to lower expectations for the former Most Valuable Player (2015) who is coming off of injuries and expected to compete with Jarrett Stidham for the starting job. Through the magic of editing, the Patriots gave a look at what Newton will look like in New England colors in three separate Twitter posts.
