Robert Kraft once said, “Today, we’re all Patriots.”
Today, we’re all lawyers.
Each new day brings a new legal brief, a new report, a new “report in context.” To be a football fan, especially in New England, is to devote part of each afternoon to putting on a pair of green eyeshades to examine the latest batch of torts and snorts and whys and wherefores that have been released by the NFL, the Patriots and the NFLPA.
We question the Patriots’ game plan, only we aren’t thinking in football terms.
We wonder if the Patriots have a good enough defense; again, we aren’t thinking in football terms.
