Buckley: 2 straight home losses for Pats? Not happening

The last time a Tom Brady-quarterbacked edition of your New England Patriots lost two consecutive home games was in 2006. It was on Nov. 12 to be exact, with the Pats dropping a 17-14 decision to the Jets just one week after the Colts marched out of the Razor with a 27-20 victory.

I well remember that loss to the Jets, mainly because it ended with a strip sack at the New York 46, after which Brady just sat there on his backside, in the mud, seemingly forever but probably only for a few moments.

“I was trying to figure out if we had another shot,” said Brady after the game.
