FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Ending one of the more wild transactions in recent memory, the New England Patriots officially waived center Bryan Stork on Monday.
That was the team's intention last Wednesday, as Stork was told earlier that day that the club was moving on from him. Some players took the news hard, with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo saying before practice, "It's tough. It's that time of year. There's a lot of movement between teams and players and everything, and it's tough to see one of your guys go like that. But that's the business, I guess."
With word of Stork's impending release reported by various news outlets, but not yet official because the Patriots didn't have to submit it to the NFL until the 4 p.
