Bryan Stork sidelined by equipment issue late in fourth quarter

HOUSTON -- As the New England Patriots were putting the finishing touches on their 27-6 victory over the Houston Texans in the fourth quarter, starting center Bryan Stork raced ahead on a screen pass and fell to the ground before taking himself out of the game.

He was replaced by rookie center David Andrews for the final six plays of the game.

After the game, as Stork was ready to exit the Patriots' locker room, I approached him about a possible injury. He was cordial and explained that he wasn't hurt, but rather was dealing with an equipment issue.
