FOXBOROUGH — Just after 9 a.m. Wednesday, news leaked that Patriots center Bryan Stork, who started 17 games — including Super Bowl XLIX — over the past two seasons, had been released.
Before the 9-5ers left the office for the day, Stork also got traded the Redskins and is now reportedly contemplating retirement.
According to Chris Cooley, former Redskins tight end turned ESPN radio host, Stork "is retiring."
A source told Mike Jones of The Washington Post that Stork is "possibly" retiring.
Drafted in 2014, Stork has an extensive injury history.
