Years from now, Tom Brady will be facing the same reality, and that’s why Brown believes the Patriots quarterback spent yesterday at NFL headquarters in New York City instead of lounging on a beach somewhere.
“Your legacy is everything,” the ex-wide receiver said. “There’s no doubt about it. (Former Pats running back) Curtis Martin and I were just talking about that. When it’s all said and done, it’s not really the touchdown catches people are going to remember. They’re going to remember some of things that had nothing to do with the game that you were involved in.
