ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos continued their offensive line makeover by waiving second-year tackle Paul Cornick, who started three games each at right tackle and tight end last season.
The Broncos also released wide receiver Jeremy Kelley, who signed a futures contract Dec. 29. The Broncos had to make room for the nine college free agents they signed Sunday after completing their nine-player draft.
Among the Broncos' draft picks was second-rounder Ty Sambrailo of Colorado State, who will compete with Michael Schofield and Chris Clark at right tackle. That made Cornick, who missed the last three games last season with a toe injury, expendable.
