The last time Rob Gronkowski played at Denver, he avoided what initially looked to be a severe knee injury.
As he's done so many times, Gronkowski ran a vertical route down the middle of the field when Broncos safety Darian Stewart delivered a big blow to his right knee. Gronk was in obvious pain after the hit, but he avoided a ligament tear because his leg was in the air -- not planted on the ground -- when Stewart made contact.
It's a difficult situation for everyone involved. If safeties try to tackle Gronkowski high, they'll bounce off of him and surrender six points.
