New England Patriots special teams ace Brenden Schooler was selected to the NFLPA Players All Pro Team on Wednesday. Schooler, who was elected onto the team by his peers, earned the recognition as a core special teamer.
In his second season, Schooler appeared in all 17 games for the Patriots while playing 89 percent of the team’s special teams snaps. He was tied for the league-lead with 13 special teams tackles and made one of the team’s best plays of the season on a field goal block against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.
