With LeGarrette Blount’s availability in question for Sunday’s game with the Titans, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots deal with their running back situation.
Blount was reportedly walking with the aid of crutches today, two days after injuring his left hip in the team’s 27-6 victory over the Texans. He was injured in the second quarter, and walked off on the field under his own power.
Given the crutches, it would appear Blount may miss some time. That would elevate Brandon Bolden, whose primary role is on special teams. Against the Texans, Bolden rushed for 51 yards on 16 carries.
