FOXBORO — Tom Brady yesterday labeled his offensive line “phenomenal.”
Told that, rookie center David Andrews suggested Brady haul out a dictionary.
So we hit the books. Merriam-Webster defines phenomenal as “very good or great: unusual in a way that is very impressive.”
Based on that definition after the win against the Jets, it looks like Brady nailed it.
Any offensive lineman will tell you it’s far more difficult to pass block when the defense knows you’re throwing the ball.
The Patriots didn’t try to disguise their pass-happy game plan Sunday, as they threw the ball on 86 percent of their snaps.
