ORCHARD PARK - The Saturday NFL doubleheader didn’t solidify anything for the Buffalo Bills in the race for the best possible playoff seed, but it brought things a little clearer into focus.
With the Chiefs defeating the Texans to improve to 14-1, the only way Buffalo can catch Kansas City for the top seed would be to win its last three games - starting Sunday at home against the 3-11 Patriots - and hope the Chiefs lose their last two, both on the road against the Steelers and Broncos. That combination seems pretty unlikely.
